A complex 8 1/2" purple crispate with a lighter purple watermark, diamond-dusted chartreuse appliqué throat, and fine white edges. Judith Weston's KICK OUT THE JAMS, the pod parent, is responsible for the irregular pattern of the appliqué throat that adds detail to the flower face. The pollen parent is CAROLINA COOL DOWN. Exemplary plants have 36 inch scapes with 6-way branching and carry as many as 44 buds starting midseason and it sometimes reblooms late in the season. Hardy, hard dormant plant habit. Easily fertile both ways. Tetraploid.
